HIDDEN DOOR

Open call launches for Visual Arts and Dance

Hidden Door 2025 will take place from Wednesday 11th to Sunday 15th June 2025, and are inviting artist's to submit proposal's to be a part of their event.

"We open up forgotten urban spaces for the public to explore and discover incredible music, art, theatre, film, dance, spoken word and more".

The Paper Factory, a huge industrial site in the west of Edinburgh, will be transformed into a specular of multi-discipline art installations.

GLASGOW FILM FESTIVAL 2025

Highly regarded as one of the UK's most anticipated film festivals, the Glasgow Film Festival has cemented its place as the premier film festival in Scotland.

GFF is focused on supporting Scottish talent and the festival has a long tradition of championing new and emerging talent, ensuring that the very best films from the annual submissions are given a platform in the public programme.

THE EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL2025

What is the Edinburgh Festival Fringe?

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe will return from 01 - 25 August 2025 for three weeks in August, 2025. Edinburgh welcomes an explosion of creative energy from around the globe! Artists and performers take to hundred's of stages all over the city!

A city-wide bonanza, this incredible marathon of a festival features the very finest of comedy, visual arts, theatre, film and more! As well as being renowned among locals, The Edinburgh Fringe boasts itself as the second most popular tourist attraction in the world - second only to The Olympic Games!

The Edinburgh International Film Festival2025 

The 78th edition of Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) will run from 14 to 20 August 2025 and honours 70+ years of film festival history, showcasing the very best talent in Scottish filmmaking whilst embracing the international diversity of creative expression.

With an exciting programme of film and events, local and international audiences have the chance to encounter new work across art forms, festivals and unusual venues within the beautiful city of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.

Submissions for the 2025 edition of the Festival will open on 6 January 2025 via FilmFreeway. The final deadline for receipt of submissions is Friday 18 April 2025.
