Charles Eades - Artist, Writer and Filmmaker
Artist statement: “As an artist I work primarily in the medium of video art. I am particularly interested in non-narrative work that responds to the world around us, highlighting nature and landscape rather than people.
My aim is to find new ways of seeing, and to promote the moving image as a personal form of self-expression, rather than pure entertainment or traditional storytelling."

Lee Ian Moffat (aka Mr Heebie Jeebie Man) - Actor, Artist and Writer
Born and bred in Edinburgh Lee Ian Moffat is a self taught actor, artist, filmmaker, musician and writer. He see's himself as an “eternal student” and is constantly seeking to collaborate with like minded creatives to help better his knowledge and skills in the arts.
He believes the key to good mental health is found through the arts and it is something everyone can do and enjoy. His primary projects he is currently involved in are “Heebie Jeebie Story Corner” (a tale of which is being shown at the PSAM event) and his upcoming tour/street theatre/horror movie night “Mr HJMs’ Terrible Tales Tours”.

Stephen Caldwell – Videographer and Musician
Artist statement: “Stephen Caldwell is a songwriter, busker, ex-radio presenter and aspiring videographer from the West coast of Scotland. Currently endeavouring to learn how to make music videos, he is happy to be called a novice, but has spent many hours editing and learning about the software side of video making.
Out of editing mode, Stephen has made videos of many music events and visited many sites looking for good locations including beaches, forests, farmland and rural countryside.
"You quickly find out that though camera technique’s and knowledge are very important, other skills are necessary too. Especially organisational skills."
At this stage, Stephen is in the planning stage of music video production.”

Jean-Luc Addams “Qasarbeach” - Animator
Brunch a deux - 3:18 mins
Boids - 1:10 mins
Desert - 2:00 mins
Artist statement: “These three animation shorts are all 'claymation style', fully created by myself only recently. They are not currently online as I thought it would be good to get feedback from an audience.
My history is in Art and Design. I've been a VJ for a very large club, as well as completing full advertising for clubs, events, etc.
I was Creative Designer for Pride Scotland for their last few years over the millennium period. Also, I have worked with one of the horror film festivals, both directly as well as creating their brochures, catalogues and more!”

Christopher Law – Guerrilla Film Maker
Artist statement: "I have an interest in cinematography and motion controllers, along with drone technology and it's dynamic flexibility.
My education is a BSc (hons) Interactive Media Design, where I learned CGI and 2D animation. I feel the best results in modern cinema are often when you combine the two techniques, using CGI in a more realistic way.
My aspirations are to try my skills with animatronics and silicon moulds! I also have some experience with micro-controllers, which I consider a cross over skill to animatronics.
I believe that low budget film-making is now totally within the grasp of people outside of large scale studio's, and low budget independent cinema is often my favourite type."

Grant Deans – Videographer
Award Winning Short Film
"I Love You Forever"
SPLICED Student Film Festival "Best Drama" and "Best Director" awards

Paul Distefano – Film Director
Artist Statement: "Paul Distefano is a picture maker. He works across visual art mediums excelling as a painter, illustrator, and cinematographer.
He has extensive experience in the performing arts; acting and dancing on international platforms such as SHOWTIME, and for dance companies such as the Joffrey Ballet and Pilobolus Dance Theatre.
Distefano has now lived in Scotland for eight years. During his time here he discovered a new path as a film director with “The Artist” being his third short film.
Distefano is currently creating his first feature length film, due to be finished in 2025."

Cameron J Laing – Filmmaker & Artist
“Our Friend Andrew” BAFTA-qualifying Carmarthen Bay Film festival
Director’s statement: "Filmed in Copenhagen during the height of COVID lockdown, I created the film as a positive reaction when faced with the isolation I encountered as an immigrant in Denmark, where I lived for ten years, focusing on the need to create your own world."

Łukasz Krzysztof Augustyniak - Documentary Film Maker
Director statement: "Dancing with Flames offers an intimate glimpse into the world of fire spinning through the eyes of Iga Sobieraj, an Edinburgh-based Polish fire and flow performer. The film explore's her daily challenges in meeting the demands of her craft while delving into her deep, personal connection with fire. It also highlights her inspiring work with students and the broader artistic community.
Łukasz Augustyniak is a filmmaker and photographer from Poland, living in Edinburgh. With 20 years of experience behind the camera, he’s worked on everything from short film and music videos to documentaries, always balancing creativity with just enough chaos to keep it interesting. When he’s not telling stories through his lense, you’ll probably find him spinning fire or overthinking his next big idea. He’s all about making thing's that look good but feel real.”

Martin White – Author, Musician, Photographer and Journalist
"Martin White is a photographer, author and musician based in East Lothian and Edinburgh.
As a musician, Martin has been involved in many musical projects, mostly playing guitar and bass but also songwriting, recording, session work and producing.
He has two books published, Joey by David and Club Medusa, the latter being a horror thriller set amongst the closes and backstreet's of Edinburghs Old Town.
He has been a keen photographer since being shown how to process black and white film around the age of ten years old and has rarely been without a camera since! Although his main focus is in art and architectural photography, he is also kept busy photographing live events, gigs and doing portrait/headshot work. He has also been known to experiment in mask making and wire sculpture!"
